This is my latest Digital creation. I've always wanted to do my own rendition of the iPod commercial characters, and I think this one turned out really well. I used some new grunge brushes from www.brusheezy.com and some stock photography from www.sxc.hu/ (Stock Photo Exchange)to achieve the dirty grungy textures in the background. I put a black overlay on the girl and clipped her shape to make her all black.
After all was said and done I drew the outline of the earbuds with the pen tool, and colored the paths white with a 1px hard brush. Then I manually drew an iPod, cropped it, and transformed it so it looked like it was stuck in the girl's skirt.
THEMED ALPHABET

My first project in Digital Imaging I was to take any theme you desired and find shapes within that theme that could be perceived as letters of the alphabet. We were then to use any tools within Adobe Photoshop CS4 to make them fit together in an 11"x17" full Alphabet composition.
I chose to use exotic cars for my project. Exotic cars tend to have a lot of curves and smooth lines so I figured it would work perfectly with the alphabet.
I didn't use a lot of editing tools to bring the letters out, but there are some letters where I did some lighting/gradient overlays to make a part of the letter pop more than the rest.
FORBES COVER FOR DAVID

For my brother David's 25th birthday, and I made this to give him a little motivation. His girlfriend Nicci Avey, of Natalie Baker Photography, took the picture of him. I used her image to form a Forbes cover.

He's an entrepreneur so it was perfect. Its an 8x10 and it took me just under a week to stylize and complete. This thing looks clean and beautiful printed and framed!
SOLAR FLARE

This sun/fire-planet looking composition was fun and easy in Photoshop CS4.
ASTON MARTIN DRAWING - (WACOM DAY 1)

I just found this drawing of an Aston Martin I did way back when I first got my Wacom Intuit3 Drafting Pad. This was the first ever digital drawing I did lol. Its sort of rough and definitely unfinished...but I don't think I did too bad right?
I tried re-designing the rims, front end, and putting a lower body style on it so it looks meaner. Like an Aston Martin really needs to look any meaner right? lol
Let me know what you think so far. I could use some tips from some pros on different techniques for digital drawing.
BROKEN - (WACOM DAY 2)

This was day 2 of me using my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. I like the feel of it, and Photoshop CS4 is amazing. There are so many tools you can use, and you can zoom in really close so its possible to do really detailed, sharp images. This is unfinished as well, but it was great to practice using different layers and experimenting with brushes.
